Executive Director

Ramona Pop has been the Executive Director of the Federation of German Consumer Organisations (Verbraucherzentrale Bundesverband; vzbv) since 4 July 2022. She represents vzbv in and out of court and is in charge of its operational business. Ramona Pop advocates for strong consumer rights in direct exchange with ministers, members of parliament, associations and other policy makers. She represents vzbv in public, for example at events or in political discussions.

Ramona Pop succeeds Jutta Gurkmann, who led the organisation on an interim basis from March to July 2022. Prior to this, vzbv’s Executive Directors were Klaus Müller (2014 to 2022), Gerd Billen (2007 to 2013) und Prof. Dr. Edda Müller (2001 to 2007).
